In this medical centre we aim to provide the best possible medical care to our patients with a well trained, motivated and happy team of doctors, nurses and supporting staff. We encourage you to be involved in your health care and to participate in a partnership with the medical team. This two-way relationship allows us to make the best decisions about your care and treatment.

What You Can Expect From Us:

  • You will be greeted with courtesy.
  • You have a right to confidentiality.
  • You have a right to see your medical records within the limitations of the law.
  • You will be seen the same day if your problem is urgent.
  • You will be seen by the doctor of your choice whenever possible.
  • You will be referred to a consultant if your GP thinks it necessary.
  • Your repeat prescription, if authorised, will be ready for collection within 24-48 hours
  • Your suggestion, comments and complaints will be treated sympathetically and timely.

What We Expect From You:

  • Please treat staff with respect when contacting the surgery.  Abusive language will not be tolerated.
  • Do not ask for information about anyone else but you.
  • Tell us of any change of name, address, telephone number etc, quickly.
  • Only request an urgent appointment if appropriate. Home visits should only be requested if you are housebound or to ill to attend.
  • Please cancel your appointment if you cannot attend.
  • Please be punctual, but be prepared to wait if your own consultation is delayed by emergency.
  • Please allow sufficient time for any consultant letters or test results to reach us
  • Use the right hand side of your prescription to request your repeat prescription.
  • Please attend for review, when asked, before your next prescription is due.
  • We would, of course, be pleased to hear from you when you feel praise is due.
